The LegalFácil Guide to Labor Law in Chile: Internships

Chilean law regulates internships (aprendices) in detail (specifically in Articles 78 and on of Código del Trabajo).  Interns must be 21 years old or under and must be part of a trainee program.  There is no minimum wage. The maximum term of the intern's contract is two years.  A maximum of 10% of a company's workforce may be employed as interns.
