What is the LCT?

The LCT ("Ley de Contrato de Trabajo"; the Law of the Work Contract) is Argentine law 20.744. In Argentina, employees and employers are not free to choose the conditions of the work contracts; rather, they are subject this law. This law regulates the aspects of work contracts that are tend to diverge the most, such as firing, licenses, receiving salary payments, work hours, and the rights of employers and employees.
